We are looking forward another great year of Junior Golf. We are hoping this will be a “banner year” as we’ve added more activities, plus we are hoping to boost our PGA Jr League with more participation. Our program this year will, of course, focus on learning the game, but also keeping it fresh and fun! We added a few interesting new games and will continue with more this year. We want our kids to be excited about the game, while learning about golf course etiquette and basic golf knowledge. This program is designed to keep our juniors interested, but also combine the competitiveness and camaraderie that is the foundation of our great Club. The program has a well-balanced schedule of clinics, on-course instruction, functional training and tournaments. Many of the Club’s junior programs are for junior golfers ages 7 to 17; however our Sunday junior clinics are designed to give our younger juniors an introduction to golf.

We strongly encourage your junior golfers to get out on the course. Please remember that juniors under the age of 11 must be accompanied by an adult on the course. Juniors 11 to 17 years old may play without an adult on the course provided that they have passed an etiquette test.
We are also proud to offer competitive golf leagues for our young golfers. Each your our club participates in the Junior InterClub which is for juniors 14-18. This league is a travel league where our juniors compete against other local clubs. We host 1 match and will play at the other clubs in our division. The first scheduled practice is May 19th.
Our favorite new junior progams is the PGA Junior League. This exciting new league is for our younger golfers, ages 13 and under. Think Little League for golf! Much like InterClub, our team competes against other area clubs, but it's less competitive and more "team-oriented". Each junior gets their own team jersey and number... its FANTASTIC! Last year was our first year and our kids had a blast. We will begin practicing for the season in May, so look for an email about the schedule.
